Our Story

Our story began on March 13, 2008, in the vibrant city of San Diego. It all started when LaToya, one of the maid of honors and a self-proclaimed matchmaker, decided to take matters into her own hands. Determined to bring two hearts together, she boldly took Kaily's phone and dialed Travail's number. Initially, Travail didn’t answer, but a few hours later, curiosity got the better of him, and he called back. Kaily picked up the call, and what followed was a moment of shared confusion as they pieced together the mystery of LaToya’s matchmaking scheme. Once the puzzle was solved, their conversation flowed effortlessly. Hours passed as they discovered shared interests and commonalities, leading them to agree on meeting in person.

 

When Travail first laid eyes on Kaily, he couldn’t help but notice her confident demeanor, which he initially mistook as intimidating. Her RBF (resting bold face) gave him pause, but he summoned his courage and approached her, breaking the ice with his charm and humor. That moment marked the beginning of something extraordinary. From that day forward, Kaily and Travail were inseparable.

 

In August, Travail decided to take their love story to the next chapter. He meticulously planned a proposal that would capture the depth of his feelings for Kaily. He secretly booked a stunning suite and adorned the room with an array of beautiful flowers and rose petals. Votive candles cast a warm, romantic glow, and decadent chocolates awaited on the counter. Soft music played in the background, setting the perfect ambiance. In one corner of the room, spelled out in luscious red rose petals, were the words: “Will you marry me?”

Overwhelmed with emotion, Kaily couldn’t help but say, “Yes!” And with that, their beautiful story took its next step toward forever.
